Welcome to Little Genius! I'm Jolie, the founder and lead educator of this in-home preschool. With a solid foundation from Brandon University, where I completed a Bachelor of General Studies and a Bachelor of Education, my teaching philosophy is rooted in providing a rich and stimulating learning environment. My experience also includes teaching English abroad in Taiwan, which has informed my adaptable and inclusive approach to education. At Little Genius, our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity through hands-on, sensory, and nature-based play. We also prioritize the development of essential skills in early literacy and numeracy. A key aspect of our program is maintaining small class sizes, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive atmosphere for every child. As a mother of two boys, I am committed to fostering an environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. My personal interests include outdoor activities and promoting an active and creative lifestyle.
